The Vancouver Olympics medal count will be updated throughout the Winter Games. Swiss ski jumper Simon Ammann captured the first gold of the 2010 Olympics, while speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno was the first American to medal in Vancouver. Hannah Kearney was the first member of Team USA to win gold.
