I usually sometimes hang around on facebook but the conversations are somewhat shallow and vague and not compatible with my mystery in-query mind. I mainly use facebook to chat with my family and friends. I infact ran into old childhood friends & school friends there, that I never seen in many moons.

That's what I like about it? But, I avidly read interesting articles here or post stuff I find of interesting too.. or write on my blog..

Most of those other forums would only be of interest to people who like conspiracy theories anyway.

Okay but it is still Trity's and anyone else's choice.

They can surf the net just as easily as anyone else.  You don't have to chase them away before they even get a chance to look around.

Hello, I now became a member of this community here and I would love to be a part of it. Just enjoy the environment here. Excellent work by the mods and every member here.

I appreciate the quality of messages posted by memebers and hope I can do that for you all too.
Hope to visit here often.

Actually I never seen anything wrong with Trity's salutation post, its the following post that went off the road in derailment, by in ploy in sending someone new else elsewhere?

It doesn't matter which is first on the list.  This isn't a flippin' used car lot where a salesman pounces on a member the minute he walks through the door.  Thank You!!!!!!!

Tans-posting other forums happens all the time on forums, it happens all the time over at Prison Planet and Ron Paul forums and they aren't hurting for membership.

Atlantis Online has more topics of interest then they do.

You act like AO can't keep people based on its own merit ??

If we have more topics and are more interesting, why would you re-direct someone away then?  And as you say, to sites that aren't as interesting?  Where's the logic in that?  You're undermining the forum.  If you want to post such links in your own thread, that's one thing, but to pounce on someone the minute they sign up, is determined undermining.

You've had people sign up and not post all the time.  It is an independent event regardless of what anyone posts here.

If you want to broaden this forum's membership try posting it in other forums like I have.
