Wow, Robin do you think this is related to stonehenge eH''

Ths is the works of Europes oldest civilisation (see own thread).

The whole thing started off with a small group of caucasians that came out of the paleolithic (ice-age)  10.000 years ago. Two tousand years later they had branched to most of the Eurasian continent - and by 7.500 BP they had made series of "Mega-liths" (mega=big, lith=stone).

Thus they are called the European Megalitic Culture - or Civilisation.

Obviously these are the pioneers of the refined masonry needed to build ziggurats, pyramids, henges, temples and palaces. Neither Stonhenge, nor Manchu Pinchu or Nan Madol came out of the blue.

The European megaliths started the show - during whats called "Megalithic time.
It started 10.000 yrs ago - culminating 8.000 yrs ago, as the "large wood-culture" started to take over in Northern Eurasia.

Though, at that time the skills and capabilities started to show - along with agriculture - in central palaces of all the maor cultures in the world.

This web-site still is the best one about the real people called Atlanteans - right?!   Cool

What Boreas said!  Of course, it is all the same culture. I am surprised that isn't more obvious to people.
