Using rocks and minerals to heal the earth and us.

What a joy these are to see!  You know, in looking at those of the style just above this post.... one wonders if they are intended as a location for a funeral pyre.... as was performed in the most ancient times, before body burial.....the ashes then taken to the "family tree" to be placed in amongst the roots, so that the spirit could then process upwards through the sap to the leaves and then be released up to the sky.

Thus ye may find in thy mental and spiritual self, ye can make thyself just as happy or just as miserable as ye like. How miserable do ye want to be?......For you GROW to heaven, you don't GO to heaven. It is within thine own conscience that ye grow there.

Rockessence, it is highly possible that they were intended for a funeral pyre.  However, what I find most interesting is that they are all done in the same style, whether it be Beljium, France, England and Corsica.  Did they all have the same purpose, no matter where they were?  It is hard to know for sure.  If they did, the people who built them certainly got around quite a bit, didn't they?

Well if they all stemmed from an "original" human source, such as indicated in the Bock saga, then it is not surprising that they might be that similar.

It is hard to figure out how old they are, though. They don't have to be the same age to have all come from the same culture.  Does the Bock Saga specifically mention using rock as a funeral pyre?

Not specifically those structures, but they have been doing that since before the first Ice-time ...more than 55 million years ago!

When you say they were doing that, do you mean making a funeral pyre from stone structures?
