Exactly there have been ice ages long before humans have started driving cars and burning fossil fuels.  Meaning that human kind has nothing to do with any current climate changes going on.

Your thinking is a little linear on this.  Just because climate change has occurred in the past before the Industrial Revolution does not mean that climate change is always natural.  Industrialization effects the climate, too. The CO2 we are putting in in the atmosphere is in excess of the CO2 that the earth is used to absorbing from natural factors, putting nature out of balance. CO2 has been rising in the past one hundred years faster than at any time than in the past 10,000 years, and, when CO2 rises, temps rise, too, that is a known fact.

And the rising temps not only lead to a warmer world, but more extreme storms, more disease and flooded coastlines.

As for there being errors in the climate research, well, sure, there are always errors in scientific research, that's why scientists are constantly revising old theories and hypothesis.  The idea that it is a "cover-up" is simply being put forth by global warming deniers, who want to discredit the idea for theior political agenda (i.e. continuing to make a buck by polluting the environment  through the continued burning of fossil fuels).

In the final analysis, you have to decide who's side you want to be on:  the big corporations, or the planet.  Apparently, you have decided to be with the corporations.

Actually Shonnon is does mean it is natural.  It is true that humans are polluting the air by dumping a bunch of crap in the air causing temperatures to rise (only slightly, but that's my opinion).  We're not due for another major shift in the earths climate for another 12,000 to 15,000 yrs. There is just too much fear mongering and panic like it's going to happen next week.

My point is that these women are actually worrying about a problem that doesn't exist - climate-change.  All the while they typically are the ones who slurp down sodas with all these chemicals in them.

How do you know that women are "slurping down sodas?"  I don't, they are unhealthy for you, high fructose corn syrup adds pounds and some of the other materials are said to cause cancer.  Don't treat people with stereotypes, you'll sound more intelligent.

Go to a supermarket and see which gender buys the majority of diet sodas.  Sheesh, every observable human behavior is a "stereotype" with you liberals.

Fructose can make you fat but compared to asparatame fructose won't destroy your liver.

Wow enough with the crap that's in sodas.  If you don't have anything relevant to contribute to the discussion then don't post anything.

What's to contribute ?  Man made climate-change is a load of crap, it is just a means of neo-feudal enslavement by the NWO, Obama and these other kakistocrats are just their puppets.

First and Last step cuz no one but gulliberals are buying it.

I agree that man-made climate change is crap but changing the subject isn't going to get your point across.  It just makes you look less intelligent. Especially if your start taking about soda instead of climate change.  Two things that have nothing to do with each other.

It's not fear-mongering, Robert.  Sure, the big shift ten thousand years ago was because of natural changes, but that doesn't mean that they all are.  Point is, we are speeding up the current climate change with our industrialization and pollution.  The majority of the effects of climate change won't be felt in our lifetime, but in our descendants.

God are some of you dense.

Listen very closely:

Just because climate changes have occurred without industrialization does not mean it is incapable of effecting climate.

We did not have industrialization till 160 years ago.

You, Volitzer, need to get another source of science other than Alex Jones, who is a conspiracy theorist/nutjob.

That's because you can't make a comment without stereotyping people.

You know, I don't get why people even fight against climate change.  Even if all the experts are wrong, at worst you have a less polluted, more environmentally friendly world  Who wouldn't want that?

That's right, you can't fight what the earth does naturally.  I'd love to have clean air just as much as the next guy and I'm all for alternative energy sources.  But most of what people hear is that humans are the cause of it all which is simply not true.

Sure, only the vast majority of scientists agree that global warming is manmade, but what do they know?  That happens to conflict with what the conspiracy theorists all believe, and, of course they know better.  These are, of course, the same people who believe that Obama is a Kenyan, that the government did 9/11, and, of course, that we never landed on the moon.  Far be it for the scientific community to dispute these Glenn Beck loving geniuses!

Welcome to the forum.  Smiley  There lies the problem with the debate of climate change.  Scientists are just focusing on the human factor and not all the CO2 and other gases the earth puts out.
