ORLANDO | Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting of at least eight people, including two who have died, in an Orange County office building.

Right now, police said they think the suspect is a disgruntled former contractor. He has not been apprehended. He is a light-skinned male who is armed, wearing a light blue polo shirt and jeans, according to Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jim Solomons.

The shooting happened at 1000 Legion Place in downtown Orlando near the intersection of Ivanhoe and Interstate 4.

There is a huge police response in the area with officers surrounding the Gateway Center building with guns drawn. Officials have confirmed eight trauma patients have been taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, and the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that two people have died.

Those patients were found on every floor at the Gateway Center so far, meaning there could be more victims, TV news stations are reporting.

Orlando Regional Medical Center and Edgewater High School are on lockdown.

Streets in the area are blocked off. Police are shutting down Colonial Drive and Garland Avenue.
