I found interesting he used the idea of Pandora's box ( a Tesseract or Hypercube) in which demons (called Cenobites, a name taken from ancient monks!) are somehow trapped. This is like old myths are saying again and again. The Djiing trapped in Aladin's lamp were evil and not like Walt Dinsey animated version depicts.
