knacker is correct about floods.   The "3 floods" referred to a destruction of Critias's Attica/Athens. 

That destruction of Attica occurred during the "flood of Ogyges".  Classical era Greeks said the Silver Age was ended by the "flood of Ogyges".  This info about ending the Silver Age is consistent with Critias, because the Greeks had "forgotten" the events that occurred in Attica before the mythical "flood of Ogyges".
