Ancient Wall Discovered in Jerusalem -- Thought to be Regions Earliest

Israeli archaeologists have discovered a 3,700-year-old wall in Jerusalem and claim it could be part of the first fortification in the region. Dig director Ronny Reich said the wall proves the Canaanite people were sophisticated.

The wall was founded in dig sites in a Palestinian neighbourhood. Critics of Israel argue that the government uses these finds to bolster claims they feel they have to occupied land in Palestine.
