This is a pretty easy call (though some people are so filled with hate around here, they can't step back and examine their own behavior).

Let's get something clear here.

Yes there is hate but the hatred is towards a socialist government.

Socialism has never worked, it never will.  The problem with socialism is that you run out of people to take money from.

Hating socialism and the socialists who advocate it is NOT RACIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one here has advocated hatred based on skin color, no one.  The only thing anyone here has ever advocated was being anti-socialist and anti-authoritarian.

No one here has ever said anything about assassinations except you liberals and Obamanoids.  No one here brings up "hate" other than you liberals and Obamanoids.

In fact you libs and Obamanoids couldn't engage in debate without bringing up "race" and "hate".

The only thing that's getting assassinated here is socialist ideology, tho it truly never dies, I would dare any of you to dispute this with facts.

Show me where anyone has advocated hate on this forum towards Obama just on his ethnicity ?

"They" are only taking it from rich people, who pay higher taxes in Socialist countries. That doesn't happen here because the Republicans got everyone thinking they'll be rich, too.

You won't be.  You are working for THEIR agenda (the rich) and it is to screw you over.

Oh really, did you see this article from Krista?

Barack Obama faces 30 death threats a day, stretching US Secret Service
US President Barack Obama is the target of more than 30 potential death threats a day and is being protected by an increasingly over-stretched and under-resourced Secret Service, according to a new book.

By Toby Harnden in Washington
Published: 8:34PM BST 03 Aug 2009

US President Barack Obama

Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service.

Some threats to Mr Obama, whose Secret Service codename is Renegade, have been publicised, including an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history

Most however, are kept under wraps because the Secret Service fears that revealing details of them would only increase the number of copycat attempts. Although most threats are not credible, each one has to be investigated meticulously.

According to the book, intelligence officials received information that people associated with the Somalia-based Islamist group al-Shabaab might try to disrupt Mr Obama's inauguration in January, when the Secret Service co-ordinated at least 40,000 agents and officers from some 94 police, military and security agencies.

More than a dozen counter-sniper teams were stationed along the inauguration parade route and the criminal records of employees and hotel guests in nearby buildings were scrutinised.

Despite all this, there were glaring loopholes in the security. Kessler describes how more than 100 VIPs and major campaign donors were screened by metal detectors but then walked along a public pavement before boarding "secure" buses and were not checked again.

It could have been relatively simple for an assassin to have mingled with them in order to get close enough to shoot the new president.

After Mr Obama was elected president, his two children Malia, 11, codenamed Radiance, and Sasha, eight, codenamed Rosebud, began receiving Secret Service protection. Mr Obama's wife Michelle is codenamed Renaissance. The Secret Service also started to protect Vice-President Joe Biden's children, grandchildren, and mother.

Instead of bringing in more agents - instantly identifiable because of their bulky suits, worn over bullet-proof jackets, and earpieces - the Secret Service directed agents to work longer hours to cover the extra load and to miss firearms training, physical fitness sessions and tests.

"We have half the number of agents we need, but requests for more agents have fallen on deaf ears at headquarters," a Secret Service agent told Kessler. "Headquarters' mentality has always been, 'You can complete the mission with what you have. You're a U.S.S.S. agent'."

Mr Biden's constant travel, including back to his home state of Delaware-the burden has meant that all agents on his team have ceased training. According to Kessler, however, they fill in forms stating they have "taken and passed all tests, when they have not, creating a dishonest culture".

The Secret Service has increasingly cut corners after it was absorbed by the new Homeland Security Department under Mr Bush. Kessler said that when Mr Biden threw the first pitch at the first Baltimore Orioles game of the 2009 season, the Secret Service did not screen any of the more than 40,000 fans, stunning his agents and the local Secret Service field office.

That's because a lot of you are.  How many people do you know actually come right out and claim to be a racist?

The gist of the whole "birther" movement, for instance, is racism.  You don't need to admit it, we all know its the truth.  Wink

I have an Albanian immigrant at my job who thinks America is an awesome country because jobs are so plentiful even in a recession, jobs are hard to come by in Europe due to socialism.  High unemployment is usually the norm.

No Americans only like paying a 30% tax rate versus a 50-60% tax rate.  That and Americans actually like low unemployment that capitalism provides not the high unemployment that socialism inevitably creates.

With socialism you will be working for a government agenda and doing with less.

Why doesn't Obama just show he is a 'natural-born' citizen with his long-from Birth-Certificate like Alan Keyes and Cynthia McKinney have and just put the whole thing to rest ??

If racism was the issue then you would see people harassing Keyes and McKinney as well.

Are there racists out there who hate Obama ?  Yes.

However they are a small group and have little to nothing to do with the 'birther' movement.  The 'birther' movement is comprised of American citizens who demand that Obama follow the US Constitution and prove his eligibility.

Otherwise we will have another 'Howard Taft' in office in which he was an un-Constitutional President as well cuz Congress never passed a resolution back in 1857 making Ohio a state.

Quote
16th Amendment improperly ratified.‏

This is my absolute favorite anti-income-tax argument. Most claims that Americans aren't required to pay income tax rely on legal interpretations so tortured only a tax resister could possibly believe them. But the Ohio thing has just enough plausibility to give even sane people pause.
It all started when Ohio was preparing to celebrate the 150th anniversary of its admission to the Union in 1953. Researchers looking for the original statehood documents discovered there'd been a little oversight. While Congress had approved Ohio's boundaries and constitution, it had never passed a resolution formally admitting the future land of the Buckeyes. Technically, therefore, Ohio was not a state.
Predictably, when this came to light it was the subject of much merriment. One senator joshingly suggested that his colleagues from Ohio were drawing federal paychecks under false pretenses.
But Ohio congressman George Bender thought it was no laughing matter. He introduced a bill in Congress to admit Ohio to the Union retroactive to March 1, 1803. At a special session at the old state capital in Chillicothe the Ohio state legislature approved a new petition for statehood that was delivered to Washington on horseback. Congress subsequently passed a joint resolution, and President Eisenhower, after a few more jokes, signed it on August 7, 1953.
But then the tax resisters got to work. They argued that since Ohio wasn't officially a state until 1953, its ratification of the 16th Amendment in 1911 was invalid, and thus Congress had no authority to enact an income tax.
Baloney, argued rational folk. A sufficient number of states voted for ratification even if you don't count Ohio.
OK, said the resisters, but the proposed amendment had been introduced to Congress by the administration of William H. Taft. Taft had been born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1857. The Constitution requires that presidents be natural-born citizens of the United States. Since Ohio was not a state in 1857, Taft was not a natural-born citizen, could not legally be president, and could not legally introduce the 16th Amendment. (Presumably one would also have problems with anything done by presidents Grant, Hayes, Garfield, B. Harrison, McKinley, and Harding, who were also born in Ohio.)
Get off it, the rationalists replied. The 1953 resolution retroactively admitted Ohio as of 1803, thereby rendering all subsequent events copacetic.
Uh-uh, said the resisters. The constitution says the Congress shall make no ex post facto law. That means no retroactive admissions to statehood.
Uh, we'll get back to you on that, said the rationalists.
A call to the IRS elicited the following official statement: "The courts have . . . rejected claims that the Sixteenth Amendment . . . was not properly ratified. . . . In Porth v. Brodrick, 214 F.2d 925 (10th Circuit 1954), the court dismissed an attack on the Sixteenth Amendment as being 'clearly unsubstantial and without merit,' as well as 'far fetched and frivolous.'"
Just one problem. The Porth decision didn't specifically address the Ohio argument. It just sort of spluttered that attacks on the 16th Amendment were stupid.
OK, they're stupid. But great matters have turned on seemingly sillier points of law. It's not like the Ohio argument couldn't have been defeated on the merits. One suspects that from a legal standpoint "ex post facto" doesn't mean exactly the same thing as "retroactive." And of course the weight of 150 years of history, during which time everyone thought Ohio had been properly admitted, ought to count for something.
I'm not defending the crackpots. But if you're a parent you recognize that "because I said so" isn't much of an argument. Guess it's different if you're a judge.

See Constitutionality sees no race just eligibility.  Taft was white, Obama is multi-racial.  Both are un-Constitutional Presidents.   Wink

Volitzer, not to intrude on your argument with the others, but the reason people assume that the birthers are racist is because they only bring up the names of people who are black and suggest they are foreign. What do Cynthia McKinney, Alan Keyes and Barack Obama have in common except that they are all black?

Besides, the Birthers are so delusional that no amount of proof would be enough for them anyway.

That's because a lot of it is based on hate, the "socialist" tag and the birther movement are simply elements that racists use to hide their hatred of having a black President.

I could care less about Obama and the horses he rode in on. Something else is about to happen that will go way beyond this silly little echelon of existence.

The Coming Behemoth Paradigm

Though many of us like or dislike what the Obama Administration is foisting upon us, we are doomed no matter what takes place. Malthusian doom is rapidly approaching us from hidden realms. Population is getting out of hand and the ratio of people to living space is burgeoning to chaos. There is no place to stand, much less eat. If some terrible earth catastrophe takes place, we will begin to eat each other — just as some did in the ancient past. Jobs will become fewer and far between in the next generations and government will become much more hegemonic in how it seeks to control our lives. The rich will indeed get richer and the poor & sick will flake out the back door. It is already happening in Mexico with the evil amplification of drug lords quickening their hold on a government unable to control crime. Mexico City has an inner city built around the largest dump in existence filled with people who are on their last legs. Desperation is beyond setting in, it is the rule of the day. Even Obama's attempts to usurp our freedoms is shortsighted in the plan against over population.

Our computers are taking away our jobs and what we know. Information saturation is bleeding our minds. The old folks who never picked up computers will also never be able to find work other than the old folks homes. Soylent Green is setting in. You are what you eat. Unless we get our heads together and work together to try to solve our Human situation we will face some very nasty and difficult times ahead. We must jump to a phase two civilization now. We need to jump off this planet and dive into the universe. Education via CyberArts techniques is our only hope to survive and having schools with football teams and all the extra-curricular goodies is out the back door. We need to grab that I-pad and dive into simulation technology, virtual reality, nanotechnology and expert systems that educate us for a life far beyond what we have in the silly public schools. Humans are built for space exploration and amplified utilization of genetic engineering or over-unity creation but we have not moved into those higher technological areas. We must or we will never survive. We have Mars and Venus that we can make into livable places via macro development. Humanity needs to move beyond Obama and get serious about the Behemoth about to eat us. Lets put down the silly wars and violence and go to work on a project far beyond the Manhattan Project to save the entire Earth. We have the minds, but do we have the will?

Mandy, the people against Obama are mad because he does not address them also. He only panders to his constituents and to Hell with the rest of the nation's makeup. I am a strange cat in that I am conservative and also live in the realm of a futurist. No one wants to kill this guy, they just want some attention and respect. I could care less if he is black and in fact, I have a little black in my family history. All Blood Is Red! Get over this silly racist stuff and realize that only a few idiots are imbued with such hate. Most Tea Party folks are your grandparents who worked, saved and served this nation to the greatest degree. They just want someone to represent their concerns. Obama does not care about anyone but his own leverage segments.
