John Keel—Mothman Prophecies author—dies

John Keel, perhaps the most famous and free-thinking fortean writer of the 60s and 70's, died on July 3. Keel was the author of the Mothman Prophecies and numerous other books that had a major impact on ufology. He will be greatly missed and has left a void that may never be filled. He was a great author. The Mothman Propehcies was one of the most important works on a cryptozoological creature written in the last twenty years, even if the movie was a bit lacking.  He will be missed.
