Tulum



The archaeological site of Tulum is one of the most beautiful places on the Riviera Maya. Raised on the top of a cliff, Tulum is one of the most popular excursions for tourists visiting Cancun and the Riviera Maya. Over sixty well-preserved structures can be observed within three massive walls which surround the site. It is, in fact, the only Mayan city fortified this way. The ruins may be a little less impressive than the ones in Chichen Itza or Coba, but the overwhelming landscape surrounding it is highly unusual and certainly worth the trip!
