He deserves no respect.  I think when a president has an approval rating of 23% or so then I doubt that most of the country has little or no respect for him.  Besides when Bush left for Texas I think the only news channel covering it was Fox.  And we all know how much Fox loved Bush by hanging on every word of his for the last 8 years.
