This song reminds me of a part of my life in the early 90's.
I remember those days with a smile because I was wished into existence by a drive to be free.
I found myself beleiving that I could conquer all my fears.

Maybe my all-time favorite!

The Highwaymen doing "The Highwayman".  Art Bell used to play it a lot...

ILLIGITIMI NON CARBORUNDUM

Thus ye may find in thy mental and spiritual self, ye can make thyself just as happy or just as miserable as ye like. How miserable do ye want to be?......For you GROW to heaven, you don't GO to heaven. It is within thine own conscience that ye grow there.

Here are a few songs that describe how I am and how I feel about life:
(I'm just making a list, as I do not like categories. Smiley)

Probably my all time favorite song.

This is the only video that I found that covered this song, and I am not computer literate enough to put it here any other way. Smiley

This is one of my favorite songs, and I just found this video that fits well.

It is funny how a single word can inspire so many different emotions. Wink

This isn't the version that I like. Listen to live at Folsom prison for my favorite.
They will NEVER be able to replace a man with a machine.

How I feel right now.

(I would recommend this album - Conspiritus - to anyone who has opened their eyes to "reality")

There is a host of other songs that can best describe various aspects of my being. There may be more to come. (I just need to learn how to post the versions that I want to post. Smiley)

Do you have a favorite band at all, Jake?

This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean. But afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea.

Music is music.

I love it all.

If it did not appeal towards someone than it would have never been made at all.

I do not like to limit the scope of any of my endeavors, including music.

What I do fairly regularly is just randomly picking out an album, and listening to it. Or pick a criteria that is absolutely not music related, like the color of the album, or the number of letters in the artist/bands name. You will broaden your horizons quickly.

It certainly will allow you to form new neural connections really fast.  Wink
