What kind of catacalysm hit the globe so hard that we forgot about a whole continent full of pyramids, civilized and indeginous cultures?

Rumours of Cataclysm

Following Columbus' celebrated landfall in the Bahamas in 1492, Spanish explorers heard stories from the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean and Bahamas that spoke of a flood which had devastated the archipelagos. It was said to have split apart a much larger landmass, killing the inhabitants and leaving the many thousands and islands and cays that remain today. Some of these stories include clues which hint at a much greater catastrophe. One from Tobago speaks of 'the ole moon breaking', while others from Venezuela and the Yucatan allude to a period of darkness, fire falling from the sky and the presence overhead of a fiery snake. Had some cosmic impact caused a massive cataclysm that devastated the Bahamas and Caribbean?

Some theories claim a dramatic destruction of the western hemispehere was more likely and also corroberates with Plato and Bacon's account of the destructiojn of Atlantis.

The presence of around 500,000 elliptical craters, ranging from a few hundred metres to 11 kilometres in size, across the entire eastern seaboard of the United States, from New Jersey down to Miami, is perhaps the greatest clue. Modern theories are that these so-called Carolina Bays (after the states in which they were first noted during aerial surveys in the 1920s) were caused by a comet which entered the earth's atmosphere from the north-west over Alaska and disintegrated into millions of pieces that detonated above the ground, very much in the manner of the small comet which caused the Tunguska event in Siberia in June 1908.

The effects of the catastrophe, some time around the end of the last Ice Age, were extreme. Not only would it have caused a wall of fire and wind, which would have laid flat large areas of Tundra forest and decimated flora and fauna, but the resulting dust clouds would have created a 'nuclear winter' which seems to have resulted in a temporary re-advance of the ice fields that had covered much of North America, Europe and Asia for the previous 40,000 years. Moreover, hundreds and thousands of fragments of the comet falling in the western Atlantic basin would have produced tsunami waves of immense proportions which would have temporarily drowned both the eastern seaboard of the United States and the islands of the Bahamas and Caribbean, wiping out entire populations (a few must have got away to tell the tale, as it told in the creation myths of the indigenous peoples of both Central and North America, and also those of the Caribbean).

Could memories of this cataclysmic event have been preserved across millennia until they were recounted eventually to Spanish explorers that reached in the Bahamas and Caribbean in the wake of 1492? If so, were the same tales told to Phoenician and Carthaginian voyagers who visited these same islands prior to Plato's age? Did Plato come to hear not only of the islands which existed in the outer ocean, but also of the cataclysm which once devastated this self same region? Did it cause the landmass to be inundated by flood waters, splitting it into individual islands - temporarily at first, but then more permanently when eventually the ice fields of North America, Europe and Asia finally began to melt, causing the sea-level to rise by as much as 100 metres? Thus was the sinking of Atlantis a memory of the submergence of both the former Bahaman landmass and the low-lying regions of the Caribbean? Certainly we can say that all this took place around the very same time that Plato tells us Atlantis was destroyed by 'one terrible day and night of earthquakes and floods'. Moreover, if the Caribbean islands did once form part of Atlantis, then it would mean that part of the landmass was still above water today

The description of an island plain surrounded to the east, north and west by 'mountain ranges', matches Cuba's western plain that stretches from Havana westwards to Pinar del Río, and is enclosed on its northern and western extremes by the Cord de Guaniguanico mountain range. We also know that until around 9,000 years ago the plain extended southwards, across what is today the Bay of Batabanó, to the Isle of Youth. Here then is evidence of a vast plain, originally 540 by 160 kilometres in extent, drowned, in part at least, during the time-frame suggested by Plato.

Cuba's Cord de Guaniguanico might also be compared with the 'mountain ranges' that Plato tells us shielded Atlantis' great plain from `cold northerly winds'. Between November and February each year, Cuba is subject to bitterly cold winds, known as los nortes, or 'northers', that blow in blizzards from the eastern United States. Although these cold fronts reach exposed regions of the Cuban landmass, the Cord de Guaniguanico completely shields the western plain from the harsh winds, which would otherwise damage winter crops.

Moreover, Cuba has been identified by leading geographers as a mysterious island paradise known as Antillia, or the island of the Seven Cities, said to have laid in the outer ocean according to Moorish, and later Portuguese medieval tradition (and unquestionably borrowed from much earlier Phoenician and Carthaginian sources). More than this, the name Antillia can be shown to derive from the Semitic word root ATL, 'to elevate', which was also the root behind the name Atlas, from which we derive the name Atlantis, 'daughter of Atlas', the term used for an Atlantic island (Atlantides, 'daughters of Atlas', was the plural used in ancient times to denote Atlantic islands in general). In other words, if Antillia was merely a medieval form of Atlantis, then it further confirms Cuba's association with Plato's Atlantic paradise.

National Geographic Magazine will sponsor another underwater exploration of the sunken city off the Coast of Cuba this fall. Russian-Canadian oceanographer Pauline Zelitsky will head the expedition. Political differences prevent the US from participating, and much of the work has been done by France and Russia. So far, the exploration has been done by remote-controlled mini submarines, armed with video cameras. Their provocative images have shown what look like stepped pyramids, extending as far as South America (where these types of pyramids were built by the Mayans).

Zelitsky's theory is that a peninsula once stretched from the Yucatan to Cuba, which collapsed due to seismic activity. This reinforces the theory that early man did not arrive in the Americas by crossing the Bering Straits (a land bridge from Russia which no longer exists) but instead arrived from Asia via the Pacific Ocean. British archeologists have found human footprints in Puebla, Mexico that are 40,000 years old. On her early expeditions, Zelitsky discovered an underwater city with not only pyramids, but geometrically precise passages, tunnels and temples, many carved with ancient symbols.

But it obviously didn't come from Cuba. That's one thing. The stone we recovered from ocean bottom is very polished granite. All of the peninsula of northwest part of Cuba, all of this peninsula is limestone, very fractured limestone. So, geologically, it (megalithic granite structures) is totally foreign to Cuba. But it's also not known in Yucatan because Yucatan is also limestone, not granite. Granite is found only in the center of Mexico.

It covers approximately a beautiful, beautiful, flat, clean area. Nothing else in this area. And it covers approximately 20 square kilometers of this area. It's flat, completely flat. Huge white silicon field. In the middle of all of that are these megalithic structures surfacing out of it.

The following pictures show two megaliths, one resembling a cube and the other a pyramid, a few cubic meters in volume.

The lithological composition of the rocks forming MEGA and the submarine structures cannot be accurately identified without conducting direct observations of the elements and taking sediment and rock samples is required. The few samples available up today are of rocks exotic to the nature of the megaliths, as they are rounded erosional elements. Two rock fragments recovered from inside one of the submarine features in MEGA are identified as a volcaniclastic sandstone and a carbonate breccia. Both are old rocks, probably not related to the composition of the megaliths, so they are of allochthonous origin. How these rocks reached the area of the megaliths is not yet understood.

This is very interesting because this is evidence that the whole surface sank to the depth of 700 meters (2,297 feet, or about a half mile down).

The area has been seismically active for thousands of years. And what we find on the ocean bottom are fractures from which the magma and volcanic ash came out. From these structures we were able to delineate a configuration of the land that sank because you can see them clearly. The land that sank is very obvious from our image of the ocean bottom. And you can see bays, like harbors, and it's all at the depths of 900 and 700 meters.

Geologically, does Dr. Iturralde-Vinent and others have any idea what happened volcanically? Was it one large eruption or series of eruptions?

Series of eruptions and as he is saying, it is still active. A series of eruptions that created major tectonic movement to such a degree that land is sinking. For example, Cuba has sank and re-emerged a couple of times! But that was long ago, geologically. Now, what happened more recently geologically is that land sank that joined to Yucatan �_ islands between Yucatan and Cuba, they sank.

Here at s8int.com, we smell a rat. Below in an article entitled "Oklo, An Unappreciated Cosmic Phenomenom", "science" has applied several of its tried and true methodologies to "orthodoxize" that which otherwise would be a very strange and startling occurrence.

If you could go back and read the news and scientific articles at the time, you could contrast the shock, dismay and confusion caused by the initial announcement that nuclear material had been mined in the past and that the byproduct plutonium had been created at Oklo, --with the blase way the exlanation for the phenomenon is presented today.

In 1972, a French analyst named Bougzigues working at the Pierrelatte nuclear fuel processing plant detected a small but significant change in an important ratio between Uranium 235 and Uranium 238. The proper ratio is well known and well established in that field so that the change indicated that something way out of the ordinary was going on.

The initial suspicion was that someone had included spent fuel in with the recently mined ore. This was quickly ruled out because there was no radiation signature associated with the mystery uranium..

The mystery uranium was eventually traced back to the Gabon mine at Oklo. You need to understand that what was so incredible was that a nuclear reaction had occurred such that plutonium was created and that the nuclear reaction itself had been “moderated”! This means that once a reaction is initated, if you want to harness the power output in a controlled manner, you had better be able to keep it from exploding and releasing all the energy at once. .

At that time, people were speculating about aliens and advanced ancient civilizations. Some months after the discovery rocked the scientific world, someone came up with a somewhat dubious explanation which over time has taken on the patina of absolute certainty. It was a natural reactor which occurred billions of years ago. .

There are at least six zones of depleted uranium (usually means mined)with plutonium as a by product! You've got to really be trying to manufacture plutonium--its a complicated process.

Yet,scientists studying these zones have A Prori of course, decided not to consider that man was involved.

1)They place its occurrence safely "billions" of years ago. 2)They assume that a breeding reaction could occur naturally when no such evidence of that exists and creating a breeder reactor was once a technological holy grail which was diificult to achieve on purpose 3)They theorize that although it must have happened naturally in the distant past, that we need not worry about it occurring now, as conditions differ.4)Nature designed the reactor such that its spent fuel and dangerous byproducts were "contained".

Scientists use the principal of uniformism to draw conclusions about the future and the past. If they cannot use this "principle", then they can not draw any conclusions because they could not state that the conditions in the universe that exist now, always existed.

Here though as often happens, they have to assume that the past was vastly different as it related to the possibility of naturally occurring breeder reactions.

Again, scientists from other countries were skeptical when first hearing of these natural nuclear reactors. Some argued that the missing amounts of U-235 had been displaced over time, not split in nuclear fission reactions. "How," they asked, "could fission reactions happen in nature, when such a high degree of engineering, physics, and acute, detailed attention went into building a nuclear reactor?"

    Perrin and the other French scientists concluded that the only other uranium samples with similar levels of the isotopes found at Oklo could be found in the used nuclear fuel produced by modern reactors. They found that the percentages of many isotopes at Oklo strongly resembled those in the spent fuel generated by nuclear power plants,

Interesting info on the remains of one of the oldest cities ever found-

When excavations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro reached the street level, they discovered skeletons scattered about the cities, many holding hands and sprawling in the streets as if some instant, horrible doom had taken place. People were just lying, unburied, in the streets of the city.

And these skeletons are thousands of years old, even by traditional archaeological standards. What could cause such a thing? Why did the bodies not decay or get eaten by wild animals? Furthermore, there is no apparent cause of a physically violent death.

These skeletons are among the most radioactive ever found, on par with those at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At one site, Soviet scholars found a skeleton which had a radioactive level 50 times greater than normal.

Other cities have been found in northern India that show indications of explosions of great magnitude. Huge masses of walls and foundations of the ancient city are fused together, literally vitrified! And since there is no indication of a volcanic eruption at Mohenjo-Daro or at the other cities, the intense heat to melt clay vessels can only be explained by an atomic blast

Originally the Pyramids had a nice shiny outer coating, and capstones at the top.

"2. Tunnels & Chambers Under The Great Sphinx

(I) In a series of expeditions between 1991 and 1993 led by John Anthony West, and independent Egyptologist, scientific investigators conducted geological and seismic surveys around the Great Sphinx of Egypt. The chief geologist was Dr. Robert Schoch, Professor of Geology at Boston University, and the chief seismologist was Thomas Dobecki from the highly-respected Houston consulting firm, McBride-Ratclif & Associates.

(II) The team's conclusions were as follows:

A. Geology, The pattern of erosion on the Sphinx indicates that it was carved at the end of the last Ice Age, when heavy rains fell in the eastern Sahara - perhaps more than 12,000 years ago. This contrasts starkly with the 'orthodox' Egyptological dating for the Sphinx of around 4,500 years ago.

B. Seismography. The seismic survey indicated the existence of several unexplored tunnels and cavities in the bedrock beneath the Sphinx, including a large rectangular chamber at a depth of some 25 feet beneath the monuments front paws."

Florida State University, on behalf of the Schor Expedition, carried out a remote sensing survey around the Sphinx and elsewhere on the plateau for three weeks in April 1996. They claimed to have found "rooms and tunnels" in front of the Sphinx and running from the rear of the Sphinx. Several other projects have made similar claims:

SRI International did an electrical resistivity and acoustical survey in 1977-78.

In 1987 a Japanese team from Waseda University (Tokyo), under the direction of Sakuji Yoshimura carried out an electromagnetic sounding survey of the Khufu Pyramid and Sphinx. They reported evidence of a tunnel oriented north-south under the Sphinx, a water pocket 2.5 to 3 m below surface near the south hind paw, and another cavity near the north hind paw.

In 1991 a team consisting of geologist Robert Schoch (Boston University), Thomas Dobecki, and John Anthony West carried out a survey of the Sphinx using seismic refraction, refraction tomography, and seismic reflection. The investigators interpreted their data to indicate shallower subsurface weathering patterns toward the back and deeper weathering toward the front, which they take to indicate that the back of the Sphinx and its ditch were carved by Khafre later than the front. They interpret their data to likewise indicate subsurface cavities in front of the front left paw, and from the left paw back along the south flank.


We cannot give permission to dig into the natural rock of the Sphinx, or to drill into the Sphinx on the basis of anomalies, especially now that our highest priority is to conserve the Sphinx. Remote sensing programs should anyway be carried out elsewhere to test the techniques, and to demonstrate that it works before it is used to make sensational claims of secret rooms in the Sphinx.

Meanwhile, we struggle in our department to save the Sphinx and many other sites and monuments for future generations. We work hard to organize the site for tourism, so all can enjoy our monuments, and we try to balance tourism with conservation.  But now other priorities are far more urgent, and we cannot allow digging and drilling into the Sphinx on the off-chance that somehow we have missed the only evidence of a lost civilization!"

Pyramids had two purposes. One was for a final spiritual initiation. The long hallway up the pyramid, at one time had magnificent images along it of the stages of spiritual development and the Tarot images. The initiate would be placed in total darkness in the pyramid with a certain ointment on them, and a final enlightenment or near( or complete) death experience would be brought on.

They were also power plants. At the very top of the pyramids was placed a capstone of gold with a crystal(maybe quartz?) in it, which I think absorbed and focused rays from the sun. But the Pyramids allowed wireless tranmission to power lights and vehicles, or ships even at one time, without wires or fuel.

They were actually built 10,500 BC as opposed to the conventional dating of 2,500 BC. Underneath the Sphinx is Grandmaster Thoth's terrestial airship. In recent times Dr. Robert Schoch and John Anthony West discovered the rain weathering patterns on the Sphinx provides hard evidence that that type of weathering could only happen from 10,000 BC to 5000 BC. Author Graham Hancock has demonstrated that the shafts of the Great Pyramid point directly to certain stars and contellations. But it doesn't match the stars in 2,500 BC, it matches the sky in 10,500 BC.

Also, I think I remember reading that there isn't even supposed to be granite in those parts of the sea near Cuba, Florida or Mexico. On a Graham Hancock show I remember him interviewing an old man who remembered tons of granite being excavated and taken from the bimini road area in like the 30s or 40s.

First you need to know Atlantis was split up into two different groups, those of the Law of One and the Belialians. Or the followers of Light and the followers of Darkness. From the beginning, the darkness was on the rise in Atlantis, and finally the repercussions of this came upon them. How? Transgressions against the Law of One (fixed Universal principles, “Laws” of the way it IS), and against those of the Earth’s nature (which is in harmony with the Law of One), were everywhere. Great harm was done to the Earth by the followers of darkness, natural imbalances were created by them. A pillar of the Law of One is that of “cause and effect”. Thus did these actions bring about the physical fall of Atlantis.

The greatest of these natural imbalances was created by drilling hugh holes in the Earth’s crust, down to the levels of molten Earth. The Belialians used the very gross physical forces of the inner Earth to generate their power. They used concentrated light energy beams (like lasers) to bore great holes in the Earth. Creating their power plants was much like making a series of un-natural volcanoes, and it resulted in great instability and seismic disturbances. Before the final destruction of Atlantis, knowing the time, knowing the signs, those of the light, went to many other parts of the Earth, in order to continue their work. During the exodus from Atlantis, many followed Grand Master Thoth (pronounced ‘Toth”) to the land of Khem, now called Egypt. There he built the Great Pyramid, and other temples and places of healing, for purposes of completing their work, initiating the wise, and enlightening the ignorant. When the work was completed in Egypt they left, and went to many lands Om, Oz and remnants of Mu, now called Tibet, Europe and parts of the Americas. There was one community of Atlanteans who didn’t live on Atlantis during the great destruction. Living in total isolation from the outside world until a few decades ago, these people remained of the pure genetic line of Atlantis.

National Geographic did an article on it in the winter of ’99 and explorers from National Geographic entered the general area of the isolated community. They considered it an amazing discovery. The headline read “Shangri-la Discovered” (or something like that). Amongst other things, it described a lush sub-tropical valley amidst the Himalayas, so hidden by natural phenomenon that it never even showed up on spy satellite photos. They were also astounded by the flora and fauna. A paradise of trees, ferns and legendary animals, all hidden away from civilization, and according to them, any previous human contact. You’d expect such a discovery would be getting pretty decent media coverage, wouldn’t you? But what should have been the discovery of the century was barely getting any attention at all. In fact, the article was very hard to find and National Geographic didn’t respond to the newly discovered communities repeated inquiries.

Then National Geographic Explorers TV show aired a story about that expedition – but the story was “cut off”, so to speak, leaving it with the expedition only discovering the waterfalls nearby. Nothing was said about the “big” discovery of the lush sub-tropical valley. Why? Perhaps something was found that doesn’t “fit” and would shake up the status quo? Such a scientific revelation would never happen. It’s really one out of hundreds of examples of the suppression of archeological finds that “don’t fit” the status quo.

The archeological community doesn’t want any info out that “rocks the boat”, and this discovery falls into that category. They won’t spread the news of such a discovery amongst the scientific community, and the media won’t cover it either. But even more of an issue with this discovery, is that certain governmental forces don’t want any evidence coming out regarding who’s military forces were involved in destroying it. I can’t say who because of the further problems it would cause, but I will tell you it wasn’t Chinese. Again, the media wouldn’t touch the story even if someone brought them absolute proof of the ancient buildings, and/or evidence of who/how/why regarding the destruction.

Another very important point I would like to make, there is a book in lieu of making information available to the public from a secret record chamber buried in Egypt near the sphinx. Mainstream public revelation of such a discovery is very, very, very unlikely. It would discredit careers, and upset the theories/beliefs of many people and organizations all over the world.

The book reveals the essential contents and message of the Hall of Records in a condensed form. It basically covers the essentials – pre-history of our species, the changes that have occurred and are yet to be upon us, the nature of God and the Universe, our place in it all, and how to get free again (back to our spiritual, angelic state, and back to living in harmony and Oneness with the Universal Spirit). These ideas were all Grand Master Thoth’s ideas, and most come from a scroll and a later addendum to it. But what is particularly interesting about it, is that it is said to be written by the same author (the being who was also grand master Thoth) but in a different lifetime. Yes he stated the “Ark of the Covenant” was a component of the Great Pyramid, and he made it. What do we use power for? Numerous things just look around, they also needed power to their buildings, or vehicles, including the airborne terrestrial ships such as Thoth’s. They have other communities in the world today still using this power source. I don’t know the frequency of the Great Pyramid, but I can tell you this if you want to figure it out for yourself.

In one octave of vibration is a Universe! Every octave is a duplicate of another except that it is of a higher or lower frequency. The note “A” is an “A” whether it is played in the highest octave of an instrument range, or the lowest. As the frequency of vibration increases, and goes beyond the range of hearing, it eventually comes within the range of sight. But the same Law that dictates the repeating notes of various octaves holds true. Colors are like the notes in the octave of vision. For instance, you can take the frequency of 440 for the note “A”, and keep doubling it to find the higher octaves. You can keep doubling it past the frequency band of sound, and on into the frequency band of light. There are other versions of the capacitors (Ark of the Covenant), some are still in use today, but the one from the Great Pyramid, is located in a small church in Ethiopia now. It was brought there by a small contingent of Jewish priests because they held it in very high regard as a holy religious item, and were concerned about it being desecrated or destroyed during an impending invasion.

After they suffer the horrors of what is about to befall the people of the Earth, they will have been purified enough – involuntarily as it may be – and this purification will awaken them to the Spirit within, and return them to serving Universal Will.

The coming Earth changes are not ‘bad’ things, in and of themselves. They are necessary now. Necessary for a clean up of both the Earth, and of humans.

As all of these changes come to pass, we are given the opportunity for transcension into a new world of Unselfish Love and harmony. Some will approach the sufferings of this purification with patience, understanding, and Unselfish Love. Others will react with selfishness, negativity, and resistance. Universal Law dictates that each individual, through their attitudes and resultant actions, create, and modify, their own experience. Those who Love Unselfishly, will ultimately experience the ‘heaven’ of that attitude, while those who are negative, will ultimately experience the ‘hell’ brought by that.

Tibetan Secrets of Levitation

In his book The Bridge to Infinity, Bruce Cathie recounts an amazing story that he says originated in a German magazine. It tells the story of astonishing feats of levitation accomplished by priests in a monastery high in the Tibetan Himalayas. Here, in English translation, are excepts from that German article:

A Swedish doctor, Dr. Jarl... studied at Oxford. During those times he became friends with a young Tibetan student. A couple of years later, it was 1939, Dr. Jarl made a journey to Egypt for the English Scientific Society. There he was seen by a messenger of his Tibetan friend, and urgently requested to come to Tibet to treat a high Lama. After Dr. Jarl got the leave he followed the messenger and arrived after a long journey by plane and Yak caravans, at the monastery, where the old Lama and his friend who was now holding a high position were now living.

One day his friend took him to a place in the neighborhood of the monastery and showed him a sloping meadow which was surrounded in the north west by high cliffs. In one of the rock walls, at a height of about 250 metres was a big hole which looked like the entrance to a cave. In front of this hole there was a platform on which the monks were building a rock wall. The only access to this platform was from the top of the cliff and the monks lowered themselves down with the help of ropes.

In the middle of the meadow. about 250 metres from the cliff, was a polished slab of rock with a bowl like cavity in the center. The bowl had a diameter of one metre and a depth of 15 centimeters. A block of stone was maneuvered into this cavity by Yak oxen. The block was one metre wide and one and one-half metres long. Then 19 musical instruments were set in an arc of 90 degrees at a distance of 63 metres from the stone slab. The radius of 63 metres was measured out accurately. The musical instruments consisted of 13 drums and six trumpets. (Ragdons).

Behind each instrument was a row of monks. When the stone was in position the monk behind the small drum gave a signal to start the concert. The small drum had a very sharp sound, and could be heard even with the other instruments making a terrible din. All the monks were singing and chanting a prayer, slowly increasing the tempo of this unbelievable noise. During the first four minutes nothing happened, then as the speed of the drumming, and the noise increased, the big stone block started to rock and sway, and suddenly it took off into the air with an increasing speed in the direction of the platform in front of the cave hole 250 metres high. After three minutes of ascent it landed on the platform.

Continuously they brought new blocks to the meadow, and the monks using this method, transported 5 to 6 blocks per hour on a parabolic flight track approximately 500 metres long and 250 metres high. From time to time a stone split, and the monks moved the split stones away. Quite an unbelievable task. Dr Jarl knew about the hurling of the stones. Tibetan experts like Linaver, Spalding and Huc had spoken about it, but they had never seen it. So Dr Jarl was the first foreigner who had the opportunity to see this remarkable spectacle. Because he had the opinion in the beginning that he was the victim of mass-psychosis he made two films of the incident. The films showed exactly the same things that he had witnessed.

The English Society for which Dr Jarl was working confiscated the two films and declared them classified.

Sounds like they're going back in September and October this year to examine the underwater Megaliths near the coast of Cuba. This time will be a joint project, with National Geographic involved.

British archeologists have found human footprints in Puebla, Mexico that are 40,000 years old. On her early expeditions, Zelitsky discovered an underwater city with not only pyramids, but geometrically precise passages, tunnels and temples, many carved with ancient symbols. Since natural structures can be pyramid-shaped and have straight lines as well, these carvings are especially important. There is still controversy about whether the underwater pyramid off the coast of an island in Japan was manmade or is a natural formation.

Druids


How could the Mayas have founded their mathematical and astrological systems on an Egyptian culture which stands oceans of water and oceans of time apart? Let us first turn our attention elsewhere.

The Druids, long since eliminated by Christianity, were described by the Romans as priests of great wisdom, who believed in immortality and worshipped the stars. They are not thought to have built the many stone circles around Europe, but they may have possessed the Lost Wisdom as to their significance and function.

The megalithic arrangements across Europe are amazing feats of spatial calculation and physical achievement - the largest Menec stone could only now be lifted by the largest of cranes, and yet it was moved over 50 miles. And yet just like the great pyramid of Egypt, they are devoid of any form of marking, writing or hieroglyphic.

But perhaps we are looking from the wrong perspective. We are looking for writing on these amazing monuments and find none. But perhaps they themselves are the writing. In Carnac in north-western France there are no less than 3000 unmarked megalithic stones, the largest of which once stood 70 feet tall and weighed 500 tonnes. Their arrangement is very deliberate, and the astronomical alignments imply that in theory hundreds of years of observation must have been required before a single stone was set in place. Research at Oxford university has suggested that the builders must have known the latitude and circumference of the Earth and even such advanced mathematics as both Pythagorean and spherical trigonometry. Yet dating suggests that the stones could not possibly have been put in place within at least the last 6000 years, and probably they are older still.

At Carnac there is also a burial mound. Here is the only evidence of any form of notation; huge serpentlike patterns that appear to depict some form astronomical information. Who wrote this? The only clue we have is the mound itself. The passage inside is made of granite, just like the King's chamber in the great pyramid of Egypt, and points directly at the rising sun on Winter Solstice.

Every discussion of megalithic mystery entails some mention of Stonehenge, and this one shall be no different. Stonehenge is of course the most famous stone circle in England, and well known for its supposed astrological and mythical importance. Traditional dating of the stone circle was said to place its age at around 5000 years. However, in 1997 came a famous and major historical breakthrough. Around stonehenge there are four sighting posts. Two of these sighting posts make a line with what once were three huge wooden pillars. This alignment pointed to the most northern setting point of the moon. Stone is difficult to date, but wood can be carbon dated much more easily. Carbon dating of the remains of the wooden pillars in 1997 has now proven when they were actually put in place: 10,000 years ago.

Any part of the earth can be submerged and any part of the earth can become unsubmerged. At one time North America was underwater and that is why trilobites are found in fossils on land. Lemuria was along the Superswell, an area of the Pacific ocean which can easily be raised above seal level with a small drop in sea level or with a few earthquakes or volcanic eruptions.  The Superswell begins right below calfornia, goes to hawaii, and then goes down to Easter island, goes along Polyneisa, and then along to Japan. Real scientists accept that there certainly was a civilization on the superswell, only skeptics are in denial. If sea levels dropped about 12-20 feet the entire superswell could be exposed above water again

This is "a broad area of uplifted seafloor containing numerous volcanoes in French Polynesia." The boundaries of this superswell contain the Society, Cook, Austral, Tuamotu, Marquises, and Easter island chains. He then proposes , as a working hypothesis, that the Hawaiian-Emperor chain (Fig. 3) is located along the trend of a linear cold residue developed below the ancestral Mid-Pacific Ridge, and that “part of the residue was left behind when the ridge was variably displaced during a Mesozoic disruption of the Pacific mantle….” (p. 302).

The region of sea floor beneath French Polynesia (the "Superswell") is anomalous in that its depth is too shallow, flexural strength too weak, seismic velocity too slow, and geoid anomaly too negative for its lithospheric age as determined from magnetic isochrons. These features evidently are the effect of excess heat and extremely low viscosity in the upper mantle that maintain a thin lithospheric plate so easily penetrated by volcanism that 30 percent of the heat flux from all hot spots is liberated in this region, which constitutes only 3 percent of the earth's surface. The low-viscosity zone may facilitate rapid plate motion and the development of small-scale convection. A possible heat supply for the Superswell is a mantle reservoir enriched in radioactive isotopes as suggested by the geochemical signature of lavas from Superswell volcanoes.

Nice research, and welcome to the forum, Kilik.  I wonder if anymore work was ever done by Zelitsky with the Cuban megaliths? They have been discovered way back in 2001, with very little return voyages to them.

Bermuda also has problems fitting in with the earlier super-continent. I am told that that area was once above water, with the Caribbean forming one massive single isle during the Ice Age.

Are you on a limited time schedule or something?  That is a LOT of information to post at one go.  Most of it, I might add, having been covered in other threads, although I don't suppose it hurts to have it all in one place.  However, since I don't have a lot of time right now to sit and read the whole thing, I will just point out one LITTLE thing.

The reality is that sea levels rose quite rapidly.

The reality is, that although the sea level may have risen fairly rapidly, overall, it did not rise very much.  Remember, the world is huge and so are the oceans.  On average, I doubt the sea levels would have risen 50 feet in any one place on the globe with the end of the ice age.  Actually, I did have that informtion regarding just how high the levels rose, but haven't got it to hand at the moment.  I'm sure there are other members that can vouch for that as well.

Of course he can post whatever he likes   Regarding the sea level rises at the end of the ice age, there are so many theories out there, that it's hard to know which one to believe.  Out of everything I've read regarding this, I don't think scientists know for sure if it was quick or just how much it increased the sea levels.  Like in the spring, the thaw starts slowly and builds up gradually, until near the end of the spring it seems  it goes much faster until the ice is gone.  We do get flooding then, but it settles down again after the ice and snow are gone.  Yonaguni possibly sunk as well, so it's hard to determine how much of an effect the rising waters had, and how much was due to seismic activity.
