Thought for Today:

"There would never be a moment, in war or in peace, when I wouldn't trade all the patriots in the country for one tolerant man. Or when I wouldn't swap the vitamins in a child's lunch box for a jelly glass of magnanimity."

Ultimately, what a misereable day in history that this was.  I have been watching these replays of September 11, 2001 as it happened on the TV (has it already been seven years??)

It seems like yesterday.

We went from a peaceful, prosperous world to one of constant war and our own government trying to scare us to death.

We never even got the chance to mourn the people who died on 9/11 properly, since September 12th, 2001, they have been turned into a Republican prop to get more votes and justify their wars.

I really wish that someone great, with a better sense of morality had been in charge instead of Bush, he has ever proven himself to be small-minded and petty.  We deserved to have a JFK or an FDR at that time, instead, we got Bush.

The Republicans are so greedy and ruthless it is no wonder that half the people believe they engineered 9/11.  Perhaps they did.

One thing for sure, who you elect makes all the difference - whether we choose to make this a good world or a bad one.

Peace,

Veronica

Here, here, a day that shall live in infamy, our generation's Pearl Harbor.
(Or, perhaps Reichstag Fire, one never knows)

It's so sad, all those people died on that day.  Why are people so mean to each other?
