Atlantis was indeed a volcano-caldeiras Kingdom,
and in the AZORES are some five Collapesed or subsided-ex-volcano Isles

DATING the AZORES: not 1200 bc,
The s-soil underneath these Isles may be Millions of years older
than the Volcanoes themselves !  but the Intrusive forming of these extinct
Caldeiras are dating from 1055 to 855 bc.

but Plato's atlantis " ISLE " was a coastal Atol
" Connected to the Mainland of Araby by an ISTHMUS
(today called a Tombolo )( Timaeas-121-E.)

 So it was a PROMONTORY not a stand-alone  Isle
the Two Continent Hoax was a wrong translation
of ( " PELAGOUS- Atlantikoum.)Sea Shore as Continent

Atlantikoum Pelagous
meaning the Atlantic sea-Shore
was wrongly translated into LATIN
as Atlantidis Pelagio/Pelagus

Which means indeed" Isle-Empire "

But Atlantis was NO  ISLE and NOT in the Atlantic !


All Atlantic Geo-names outside ARABY are result of
a Cartographic ERROR in 220 bc made to simulate SPAIN as Atlantis.
