Guess what, if you do, you're a socialist, too.

Bethany:

America is a mixed economy.  It has the aspects of both socialism and capitalism.   Communism was fascist-socialism and it failed miserably.  Socialism in limited doses, like insurance, is fine but when it gets more and more authoritarian it will devastate an economy.

Look at the state of New York.  The taxes there get higher and higher to fund all these entitlement programs.  Businesses see this, close up shop and move to other states and nations where socialist taxation is much less.

Socialism is like iodine and copper, in trace amounts it leads to great health, but use too much and it is toxic.
