I was wondering where this came from myself...

Well, isn't it natural for humans to project their emotions and characteristics on to other things. That's what illiteration and metaphor are all about.

I tend to feel the same way about getting upset, some people take these forum discussions way to seriously.

I don't mind arguing about something I am interested in or care about, but name calling is absolutely pointless and those who resort to it, usually aren't worth discussing things with anyways.
