GREECE                                                                                                 continued

Among the names mentioned by Plato in this passage, one stands out -
Cecrops.  According to the OERA LINDA BOOK, Athens was founded by the
Frisian warrior princess Min-erva* (Greek:Athene, in whose honour the
Acropolis was built.  Min-erva, like the other Frisian people, was fair-
haired and blue-eyed, the physical attributes normally accorded to the
goddess Athene, who, like many Frisian women, bore arms alongside her

After the death o Min-erva, the local people of the Hellenes established
her as a goddess, an act that did not meet with the approval of their
Frisian colonizers, who were monotheists.  This resulted in the people of
the newly founded Athenian state accusing the Frisians of envy, because
Min-erva had bestowed such affection upon them.

The altercation that ensued was, however, resolved in the following

"Then, lo and behold!  an Egyptian high priest, bright of eye, clear of
brain, and enlightened of mind, whose name was Cecrops, came to
give them advice."

*The Romans adopted a goddess of this name from the Etruscans,
whom some believed also had Atlantean ancestors.
