    ***3B***        Sounds appropriate ! ! ! 1984? This information was coming out in the  late  60s/early 70s for sure! I remember reading Berlitz very first book about THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE. I had just had my first UFO experience [at close range/most likely an abduction] i dont know for sure, I lost about 12 hours time? & this was before drugs & alcohol ! According to my family & those around me I had  become withdrawn & silent. The Bermuda Triangle was the talk of the time & This was the POWERHOUSE for @tl@nt*s. Atlantis itself for me was the Bordering Unknown . BeyonD that BorDDDer we have no proof... no evidence... nothing. I WAS TOLD THAT THE OCCUPANTS OF THIS  SPACECRAFT WERE ARCHAEOLOGISTS coming here to examine the remnants of a lost spaceship that entered this solar systym from another galax*D*. & came into Orbit around Our Sun. Many theories exist about worlDs in collision...the formation of the ASTeroId beLT etc. BUT this is the 1st THEORY presented as the EArTh entering as a SpAceShIp.   **DnD** c

My paperback - a Fawcett Crest Book - has 1984 as its first printing of the book. 
I really don't know when the first edition was published.

I did a quick Google check and found out Charles Berlitz died in 2003, at the age
of 90.  What a pity!  His output was extensive:

Oh, I remember it well, DDD.  I remember being pregnant with my second child in 1966.  Keogh
(spell?) - remember him, a Colonel or a General from the US was going around being interviewed
about UFOs.  We were living in Toronto at the time.  My ex and I would sit on the balcony every
chance we had, in the hope that we'd sight a spaceship......

It would be nice to hear about your UFO incident, why don't you go to the appropriate thread
and tell us all about it?  Some of us would love to hear all about it......

Oh, yes I remember the 60s so well.  Another personage of interesting to me (a Spiritualist)
was the interview on TV with Bishop Pike and Arthur Ford.   That was another breakthrough,
or, should I say, the bringing out in the open of another Taboo subject - Ontario (Canada) was
just emerging from stifling "BLUE LAWS".wOW.....We didn't have to go over the bridge to
Buffalo anymore, to have fun on week-ends.....

been living in the US for a while, in the D.C. area.

Toronto is so full of itself . . . so staid and conservative . . . most of my creative friends went out West or left the country. I hear BC is very beautiful and more openminded . . . To us "westerners" Toronto is an alien place with attitude!  Ottawa is worse.

I think the second book I ever read regarding UFO's was The Bermuda Triangle.  The first was by George Adamski.

3D - are you thinking the earth itself was a construct?  Nawwww.  Remember in Sitchin's books, Enki was chasing after someone who stole a space ship, and that theif found gold here and communicated that fact as a bargaining chip so he wouldn't be punished?  Maybe you passed thru a time warp, and ended up in the time they were looking for that thief.  Or there is another gone missing that they were looking for.  It was in orbit you say?  Wonder what it was doing here and why it got lost?  Are you going to post about your experience?  Are you still on a ship somewhere?

I knew many words and phrases . . . I use to love to say "555" in Italian ! ! ! it was like a little poem unto itself. I work in marble and went to the Carrara Mountains to buy my tools . . . Analyzing the Richat Structure . . . did you realize this is basically a limestone/marble composition . . . meaning that it originated initially from SEA SHELL & CORAL DEPOSITS ! meaning that the Sahara Desert was probably once a sea bottom? The Left Hand of God in Tanzania [submitted by Riven/Tribes] rivals the Right Hand of God in Greece . . . "all of THE PELOPONNESE" [the playground of the GODS]. Some years ago, there was a story on TV (I don't remember the channel) who seemed to have come thru a time warp.  A wrinkle in time - or whatever it would be called.  Here's the basics.

An English couple were driving home in the dark after a dinner engagement, and suddenly there in front of them on the road was a man.  They slammed on the brakes, thinking they'd hit the fellow, and then jumped out of the car to see if he was alright.  At first they couldn't understand him when he spoke - apparently after they asked him to speak slowly - they could understand him.  He was dressed in a strange outfit and seemed dazed and disoriented.  The man driving the car was a doctor, so they took the fellow home, and then to the hospital.  I think this was in the 1970's or so. ( could be wrong on that tho)

His story - He had just finished building a new barn that day, and after supper he walked out to gaze at his handywork.  The next thing he knew was that there was bright lights in his eyes and he froze in place like a deer. 

The doctor thought he HAD struck the fellow with his car so took him to hospital and had a psyciatrist talk with him.  When they asked him what year it was he said 1745.  (Or thereabouts)  They did some dating on his garment, but since he hadn't had it that long, according to him, of course it dated only a few years old.    He had a wife and children and just wanted to go home.  They kept him in the hospital and the doctor took him out and about a bit, and tried to explain to him that somehow he had come into the future.  He was devastated and didn't believe it.  He thought he was in purgatory and no trying to tell him would change his mind.  He eventually hung himself in the hospital room.

The doctors felt bad that they hadn't given him trauma counselling, and then they researched out his family and location.  They found his farm and the barn is still standing.  There were two surviving relatives, one would talk on camera and the other wouldn't.  In the family diary, the story was written that indeed, the fellow had just finished building the barn, went out to look at it, and never came back.  They searched for him everywhere but he was never found.

That's what I mean by a time-warp.  I just asked my husband and he says we must have watched that show since we moved into this house and that was 17 years ago.  So it was within the last 17 years that show was on TV.  Maybe less, since we haven't had the satellite dish for the whole 17 years.  Could have been CBC tho, the Canadian affiliate of BBC.
