Zahi Hawas, Egypt's chief archaeologist and head of the
Supreme Council of Antiquities, walks at a pyramid site in
Sakara, Giza province, June 5, 2008.

Hawass said on Thursday he had identified a badly eroded
pyramid south of Cairo as that of the Fifth Dynasty Pharaoh
Menkauhor, who ruled Egypt in the 24th century BC.
