I just voted for Ron Paul, too.  In my view, it would be the perfect way to bring the Republican Party together, and we want them to be at full strength in November to face us.

We have to remember that Ron Paul is so involved with his Republican Party that he has refused to run as an independent, and passed on the Libertarian nomination. That is how much his membership in the Republican Party means to him.

In fact, I would suggest that everyone her votes for Ron Paul to send a message to McCain that this is the man for him as VP.

Their motto could be "Old and Older."   ;)

I also voted for Charlie Criss because there are all these rumors that he is gay and it would be really funny to see the Republicans deal with yet another Mark Foley/Larry Craig like scandal in the fall.  :o

Mmm-hmmm!  Ron Paul ran for the Republican nomination for President, so I am sure he would be overjoyed to get the number two slot.  :D

Why anyone would vote for another Republican after the last eight years is beyond me. They need to do some serious work to reinvent themselves:  get the big business **** and the religious fundies out of their party and then we'll talk.

Ron Paul would make a great VP!  That way, if something happened to McCain, he could take over!

RON PAUL REVOLUTION,GIVE US BACK OUR CONSTITUTION!   :)

Yeah but it would be like a normal politician associating with a KKK candidate.

The fact that Ron Paul would associate himself with a CFR candidate wouldn't be any different.

He wouldn't do it no matter how slow the public is to equate KKK = EVIL; CFR = EVIL.

But, if he was VP, he would be in best position to twart the CFR agenda.  It would be a great idea!!!  :D

Pawlenty: No V.P. discussions with McCain campaign
Posted: 10:35 AM ET

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby
(CNN) Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be in the spotlight Thursday evening when John McCain makes two campaign stops in Minneapolis and St. Paul, but Pawlenty often floated as a possible running mate for McCain continues to deny that he is being considered for a vice presidential nod.
On Tuesday's edition of "The Situation Room," Wolf Blitzer asked Pawlenty if the McCain campaign had begun to "vet" him.
"They have not," Pawlenty said. "I haven't been asked. I don't expect to be asked. But you're always kind to inquire about that, Wolf."
Pawlenty was again asked about being on the ticket Wednesday by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune, but he again dismissed the speculation.
"I'm honored to have my name mentioned, Pawlenty answered. "The fact is, I haven't been asked, and I don't expect to be asked."
According the newspaper, Pawlenty was asked point blank if he has had any discussions with the McCain campaign.
The governor issued a straightforward response: "None."
